Connecticut Parrot Rescue was founded in July 2015 and as of September 2016, became an official 501c3 non-profit public charity. We are completely run by Connecticut-based volunteer foster homes, who aid the transition and rehabilitation processes of companion parrots into loving adoptive homes. All of our volunteers have at least 5 years rescue experience. We are here to help out people that need to relinquish their bird (s). We want to educate the public so they are aware of what they are committing to. And we want the adoption of the parrots to be forever. Schedule A Visit. A visit to the rescue allows you to interact with all our available parrots. You may arrive with a specific bird or species in mind, and end up having chemistry with another type you had not previously considered.
